Last year on Christmas Day, I was away for holiday to experience winter in Beijing and to visit the Forbidden City. I decided to visit Beijing was after watching the Chinese period drama, The Story of Yanxi Palace.
With the grim reports of surge of infections and deaths from COVID-19 all around the world, resulting in heightened restrictions and lockdowns, overseas holiday is not an option.
I am spending this year-end to tidy my home and binge-watch Korean Dramas on Netflix.

Merry Christmas! It’s funny how things can change over the course of a year. Cleaning and organizing sounds like a great plan! That has been me the last few days. I would like to think of it as making space to welcome a new year.
