If you have been following my Instagram, you would have seen my posts on my visits to the various prefectures at Kyushu in October last year. Before my vacation, I burnt my weekends to catch up on my work, that I may have a minimal backlog. I had one amazing time there.
This trip was made to celebrate my birthday. Barely two months before the trip, I have no idea where to go. On the flight back from San Francisco after the sales conference, my colleague who sat next to me on the flight suggested that I should visit Kyushu as I was planning a trip within Asia. He was kind enough to give me a high-level itinerary and a few suggestions of where to eat and stay and they are all excellent recommendations.

Day 11 – Morning Flight Back to Singapore
Through this trip, we realised that we are absolute city dwellers and creatures of comfort. We enjoyed a good blend of city and nature but not too much of small town living. We enjoy being in the middle of the action. Perhaps growing up in an urban city like Singapore has made us 100% urban city dwellers.
Stay tuned for my updates on our Kyushu road trip.
