This week’s photo challenge is Quest.
We were at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve in Singapore, in our quest to sight a crocodile or two, we had our close encounter with a pair of smooth skin otters. That was my first close encounter with the otters. The otters were barely 3 metres away from us. Both are adult size otters.
First otter crossing…
Follow by the second otter who looked at us wondering what we were up to.

Thank you! 🙂 It is a week long challenge. So you post a photo a day or a few photos in one post a day. I got to know about this challenge just a month ago. Look forward to see more of your photos. Have a great week ahead!

Lucky you! Otters are quick to disappear when humans are nearby!!

Yeah! 😀 But not all otters. We have a family of otters who are very comfortable with humans and we called them the Bishan 10 as there are 10 of them. Will share on them in my future post.

Yes, these pair of otters were moving quickly. I was lucky to capture them in pictures as I was using a point and shoot camera, therefore could react fast enough. If I was using a DSLR, would probably missed them.
