2017 Lunar New Year Celebration – Lion Dance

Today is the 6th Day of Lunar New Year and I was out and about at Orchard Road. No, I was not there to shop. I have more than what I need and want. Still selling my stuff on Carousell and more to be listed. And recently I sold two bags and a pair of boots. More cash back.

Oops, I digress. I was at Orchard Road to collect my $300 gift voucher from Robinsons, a thank you gift for spending using their credit card. Good start to the year of the Rooster! Besides going to Robinsons, I did a little shopping.

It is always fun to shop at Orchard Road or a matter of fact, any shopping mall, during the Lunar New Year season. There are Lion Dance performances at the mall and lucky numbers for lottery betting. It may be a little noisy but definitely fun to watch.

My first stop was at Ngee Ann City. Seems like the Lion Dance Group has arrived and yet to perform.

 

My next stop was to Paragon. The Lion Dance performance has started and there were lucky numbers placed in front of the main entrance of Paragon.

 

I headed straight to the Muji Store on the fourth floor for stationery and the Lion Dance Group was entering the Store when I was making my payment. I managed to take pictures of them just before they left. The colour of the lions is so pretty, shocking pink!
