Weekly Photo Challenge: Shine (Sky)

My response to this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge theme – Shine.

The following pictures were taken using my iPhone from my apartment’s balcony. Last evening, I did not get to see the sunset nor the twilight before dusk. The sky was filled with dark rain clouds, and lightning stroke every few seconds. I saw the dark rain clouds being blown by the strong wind, covering the sky with darkness.

I attempted to capture a picture of the lightning bolt, but only managed to capture the flash of shining bright light from the lightning bolt, lighting up the dark evening sky.
