This week’s photo challenge is Mirror
These pictures were taken using my iPhone along Singapore River during my morning walks. Reflection of the sky, architectures and trees can be seen on the Singapore River that was once dirty in the 1970’s. What we are seeing now is a result of a 10-year clean up effort that cost the Singapore Government S$170 million.

Those millions of dollars were certainly well spent. These images are simply breathtaking.

Thank you! You are absolutely right. Glad our first Prime Minister has great foresight to push for the River clean up mandate.

Yeah, do share your experience that we may learn and encourage one another to simplify the way we live.

Love the fact that you are simplifying your life. It’s hard for us to do, but retirement is one way we’ve found we can cut out a lot of what’s really not so necessary!

Thank you! My multiple home moving in the last five years forced me to acknowledge that I have too many things that I do not need nor use. I watched a video on how Japanese live minimally nudged me to simplify the way I live. I am glad I am making good progress in decluttering my possessions. Continuing to remove distractions that I may have more time to enjoy and experience life.

We had an antique business for a while, and I accumulated far too much stuff! Now in process of weeding out. It feels good, though, to be uncluttered!
